Rose Wu

Mandarin Co-Teacher & N.E.S.T. Classroom Assistant

Ms. Rose joined SBMA in 2021 and supports both the Mandarin Language class and the N.E.S.T. classroom. Originally from ShanDong Province in China, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Trading and Business from QingDao Foreign Languages College, and after relocating to the United States in 2012, earned an associate's degree in Elementary and Special Education from Montgomery College. A passionate educator and polyglot, Ms. Rose speaks Mandarin, English, Korean, and some Japanese and Spanish. "The happiest moment of my day is teaching children to speak Mandarin, and singing and dancing with my little friends!"

Ms. Rose loves to keep busy: outside of SBMA, she teaches music and offers Mandarin tutoring on weekends. She enjoys singing and dancing, especially Chinese line dancing, as well as watching movies and eating delicious, traditional vegetarian food. She brings warmth, energy, and a love of language and culture to everything she contributes to our community.
